UAC Student Orientation
UAC Fall 2015 Undergraduate Orientation. Unfortunately does not include the graduate students whom I interact with, but proud to be a part of the grand ceremony.
Thankful to have fun Utah Asian Campus Colleages to hang out with
Patbingsu (Korean Shaved Ice) served with sweetened condensed milk in the pitcher and topped with chocolate powder, yummy!
Nearly 1 month here in Korea
I cannot believe that it is four weeks from tomorrow that I departed for South Korea. It has been a whirlwind of a month. Jet lag got the best of me the first week and I was counting down the days until I would return home for the winter holiday (starting the countdown at 120, eeek). But after acclimation took hold, I quickly and deeply fell in love with Songdo, South Korea. The people here are reserved but incredibly kind and always willing to help, the infrastructure is clean, modern, and remarkably efficient, my students are engaged and respectful, and there are so many shops and cafes within my immediate vicinity that all cravings and comfort wishes can be easily fulfilled. My goal now that I am settled is to post a picture a day. I continue to count down the days till I see Alan, Ruthie, and extended family and friends; however, I am happily fully engaged in my current experience of living life in the amazing country of South Korea.
